There are only 683 days left until the 2020 election and things are really starting to heat up. Well, not really, but as we all know the political world never stops and there have been several notable developments this week.
On the Senate front, Gov. Doug Ducey (R-AZ) appointed Congresswoman Martha McSally (R-AZ) to the U.S. Senate to take over for the seat currently filled by Sen. John Kyl. In Tennessee, Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) announced he will not seek reelection in 2020.
On the House side, McClatchy provided updates on the ongoing election dispute in North Carolina’s 9th District and 2018 candidate Kara Eastman, who lost her bid to unseat Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE), announced she will run again.
