Democrats are about to get an $80 million boost this fall thanks to former New York City mayor and gun-rights critic Michael Bloomberg. The money will go to organizations seeking to flip control of the House from Republicans to Democrats.
And according to recent FEC filings, Democrats need the help. The RNC outraised the DNC yet again last month, $14.6 million to $5.6 million. The national GOP organization has $47.4 million on hand, while the DNC has just $8.7 million on hand.
On the Senate front, a new poll shows Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ) with a big lead in the GOP primary in Arizona. And a poll in North Dakota shows Rep. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) leading incumbent Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), 48-44.
