With just under four months until the 2018 election, conventional wisdom suggests that Republicans face an uphill battle in retaining the U.S. House of Representatives. As it currently stands, Democrats need to win a net 23 seats to reach the 218 seats needed to take control of the House. Republicans hold 235 seats, Democrats hold 193 seats, and there are 6 vacancies (5 GOP/2 Dem).
In anticipation of November’s election, AR Intel has compiled a 3-part report of relevant information on what challenges Republicans face in 2018, reasons to believe they may overcome those challenges, and a few issues to keep an eye over the next few months. If you missed the first installment, you can find it here, and the second installment is available here. The third installment of that report is available to AR Intel subscribers. Not one yet?
