Here’s Why Kirsten Gillibrand’s Changing Gun Positions May Haunt Her In 2020

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) recently gave a speech on the Senate floor calling for, among other gun control proposals, the immediate ban on assault rifles and bump stocks, the end of the gun show loophole, and allowing the CDC to immediately begin studying the causation of gun violence. The senator touted herself in the speech, saying that her call for action on gun control “is what leadership looks like.” The senator also noted in the speech how her lifetime score with the National Rifle Association (NRA) dropped from an A to the F throughout her time in Congress.
