Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) recently gave a speech on the Senate floor calling for, among other gun control proposals, the immediate ban on assault rifles and bump stocks, the end of the gun show loophole, and allowing the CDC to immediately begin studying the causation of gun violence.
