Congressman Will Hurd has represented Texas’ 23rd Distirict in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2015. Prior to serving in Congress, Hurd served as an undercover officer in the CIA in the Middle East and South Asia for nearly a decade.
Congressman Kenny Marchant has represented Texas 24th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representative since 2005. Prior to running for Congress, Marchant started his own roofing business and expanded the business to include home construction and property development.
Representative Cindy Axne was elected to represent Iowa’s third congressional district in 2018. Axne worked for the State of Iowa in various departments.
Joni Ernst is Iowa’s freshman U.S. Senator, first elected in November 2014. After graduating from Iowa State University, Ernst joined the U.S. Army Reserves and served for 23 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Iowa Army National Guard.
Doug Jones was elected to the Senate in 2017 in a special election to replace former Sen. Jeff Sessions. Jones was the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama from 1997 to 2001.
Rep. Jared Golden won election to represent Maine’s second congressional district in 2018. Prior to running for Congress, Golden served in Afghanistan, worked for Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee from 2011 to 2012 and then briefly worked for Sen. Collins in her personal office.
Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer was elected to represent Iowa’s first congressional district in 2018. Prior to running for Congress, Finkenauer was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives where she had served since 2014.
Rep. Lauren Underwood was elected to represent Illinois’ 14th congressional district in 2018. Prior to running for Congress, Underwood was a senior advisor at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services where she helped communities prevent, prepare for, and respond to disasters.
Rep. Elissa Slotkin was elected to Congress in 2018 and serves on the House Armed Services and Homeland Security committees. Prior to running for Congress, Slotkin worked at the Central Intelligence Agency as a Middle East analyst.
Rep. Xochitl Torres Small was elected to Congress in 2018. Prior to running for Congress, Torres Small was a Field Representative for Sen. Tom Udall and helped to increase cell phone service and other communication lines in rural New Mexico.
